TOPIC
Analysing Fractals and Elliott Waves in The Financial World

This presentation is based on the book by Matías Menéndez Larre, where
we will explore the fundamental concepts that reveal the hidden structure of market movements. We will begin our tour with the term that has recently resonated in financial circles: "fractals."

Fractals - Roots and Connections: We will address the evolution of the concept of fractals from Mandelbrot's pioneering research to their intrinsic connection with Elliott Waves, proposed by Ralph Nelson Elliott in the 1930s. We will examine how these two pillars intertwine to form the basis of our conceptual model.

The Principle of Elliott Waves: Although the principle of Elliott Waves
has endured over time, its complexity has given rise to various
interpretations. We will explore how the foundations of this principle can
be connected to Mandelbrot's research, providing a comprehensive and solid perspective to understand and predict the behavior of financial instruments.

Building a Solid Conceptual Model: In this first part, our
focus will be on exploring the connections between fractals and Elliott Waves. We will work together to build a solid conceptual model that
lays the foundation for understanding market dynamics and establishing a firm ground for future exploration in part 2.

PRESENTER
Matías Menendez Larre, Master in Financial Markets and Asset Management, founder of “Fintbi”, a Fintech whose mission is to protect the capital of people in complex macroeconomic environments in addition to generating social positive impact focused on nutrition and childhood education, and author of the book “Elliott Waves – The Fractal Behavior of Financial Markets”.

He began his study of financial markets in 2001 in search of
a response to their chaotic behavior, which allows us to understand and predict future movements. Specialized in Elliott Waves, he was able to find the first responses by breaking with certain mysticisms of the ancient principle, combining it with Mandelbrot's fractal theory, to arrive at a multi-fractal model that allows not only to understand the instrument, but also generate profitable investment strategies.

Matías is a collaborator of IEATEC and other media outlets such as
Investing.com and FxStreet.com, as well as a coach for investors and traders.
