In the financial realm, first & foremost, he sees himself as an investor. An investor who invests time, energy & money across a range of asset classes & disciplines; including market-trading.
Over the decades, he has traded both long and short, adapting to changing market conditions and following what technical analysis and market behaviour & sentiment were signalling at the time.

Despite his experience, he believes the markets continue to teach him something new every day.

This session will run in an informal Q&A format, where he will share stories & observations, discuss lessons learned through different market cycles, and give his views on selected market charts, market sentiment & (successful) investor & trader psychology.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
The speaker is an investor & trader with 40+ years of experience in the markets. He began trading in the Futures, Options & Stock Markets in the mid ‘80s.

He has traded through major market events, including the ‘87 crash, and has developed a flexible market approach, taking both long and short positions depending on market conditions and technical analysis signals.

He continues to be long-term investor across various asset classes. He is also an active (but not Day) trader. He remains an active student of the markets, learning from the highs and lows, and a committed member of STANZ.
