Star Citizen Cambs/surrounding areas Meetup
Details
Hi fellow backers!
I've just joined this group and wanted to let you know about a gathering of SC fans we'll be having as part of a LAN party we're having at a hotel in Cambridgeshire in October. We're there for 4 days in total, but on the Saturday 18th October we'll have about 40 people at the hotel, almost all of whom are in our SC org (DMW) and who are Star Citizen backers:

So I was wondering if budding pilots within reach of our hotel (which we will have taken over for the long weekend) wanted to join us in the hotel bar for some quality SC banter?
When: Saturday 18th October from 12.00pm onwards
Where: Oliver Cromwell Hotel, High Street, March, Cambridgeshire, PE15 9LH http://www.olivercromwellhotel.co.uk/
DMW are a mature bunch of gamers who have known each other for years (we've been gaming together since 1996) and we have a wide age range within our group from 18 through to retired! We predominantly British, but also have a large number of scandinavian and european members, about 10 of whom will be flying into the UK for this LAN party and SC Meet.
You can get more of an idea about us and our gaming community here:

We're NOT trying to sell LAN tickets via this post. This is purely an invitation to join fellow gamers & SC backers at the hotel on the Saturday from 12.00pm onwards for a drink and a good chat.
This is DMW's 26th LAN party in the town (we do two per year) and you can see from our forum we've already got 32 people booked into the LAN and 7 additional people attending purely for the social fun, so there will be plenty of people in the bar to talk to about SC.
If you fancy attending, just let me know please so that I can make sure to greet you and introduce you to some of our members.......although if you turn up on the Friday night during our traditional 'steak night' then we'll be easier to identify - we'll be the ones wearing sombreros and ponchos!
I hope the meet is of interest and hoping to hear from some of you wanting to join us on the Saturday. A word of warning, please do not drink & drive, especially as the police in March are particularly active in checking!
Regards.
