America's Water Crisis Part 3

America has a significant water crisis on its hands.

There are three major aspects to this crisis: Availability (shortage), Quality, and Fire Prevention & Control.

If the current trends continue (AND THEY ARE EXPECTED TO DO JUST THAT) the prices of food and many other products will have to go up over the next several years.

In this meetup we discuss Forest Fire Prevention & Control. We have previously discussed Availability and Quality.

A solution being proposed is to Privatize Water Rights. That is Corporate America will take over the ownership of America’s inland waters. What are the Pros and Cons of this approach?

We will review a short PowerPoint presentation of trends in wildfires and then discuss the Pros & Cons of Corporate ownership of water rights.

If time allows – we will discuss any ideas members of the group have for solving the problems.
