AI’s role in strategic storytelling: from concept to creation

Exploring visions and communicating them effectively is a daily task for designers, whether it’s for a service concept, an app feature or a future scenario. Strategic intent often drives this effort, to convince stakeholders, clients, and customers alike. However, the creation of these narratives and illustrated storyboards can be a time-consuming process.

As AI continues to improve, we’ve been asking ourselves: How might we leverage the potential of AI to accelerate this process and improve outcomes? In this interactive session on strategic storytelling, we will share our Star framework for crafting concise, visually engaging stories, and show where we can bring in AI to help us. These narratives serve as the basis for pitching and circulating ideas, validating hypotheses with end users or potential partners, and ultimately promoting your product vision to your target audience.

⚡️💻 This session will include interactive segments that will allow attendees to experience first-hand the process of using tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney and Runway for storytelling. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop to fully engage in these activities. To hit the ground running, feel free to create accounts on these platforms in advance.
