Out of the Darkness Greater Los Angeles Santa Monica Walk
200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, 10/14/2017, CA, USTOGETHER TO SAVE LIVES!
Please join us as we support prevention of suicide at the 2026 Out of the Darkness Greater Los Angeles Santa Monica Walk by American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) on Saturday, October 10! ANYONE can join us -- ASTRAEUS member, FLEET member, friends, family, etc. ANYONE is more than welcome!
Not only is Out of the Darkness a walk, it is also a fundraiser. If you can, please ask others for a donation or two -- remember, no amount is too small! AFSP has cool recognition gifts for certain amounts of fundraising on your personal page, including a t-shirts, a sweatshirt, a wireless charging desk organizer, 3-in-1 handwarmers & power bank, and more!
Please join us for the walk, even if you were not able to fundraise or donate. It will be lots of fun checking out the booths on the Santa Monica Pier and enjoying great company with great friends! And if you are in a wheelchair, we'll be more than glad to assist you if needed.

If you have a Star Trek shirt or Out of the Darkness shirt, that would be awesome to wear!
If you wish to wear your ship uniform, you may, but it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing for an outdoor walk.
Suicide prevention is a person passion for Captain Morgenthaler and many others. If you are not able to particpate, it would be awesome if you could spread the word to others out there!
So please come with your friends, family, and other ASTRAEUS and FLEET members to fundraise, donate, and walk with us on October 10 at Santa Monica Pier.

LA COMIC CON
LA Convention Center, Los Angeles Convention Center 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA, Los Angeles, CA, USLed by USS ARTESIA, USS EDMONDS, and USS ASTRAEUS, THE FLEET is once again returning to LA COMIC CON! This year, the convention will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1.
Dates and times of the convention (as stated on the LACC website):
* Friday, October 30: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
* Saturday, October 31: 9:30 am - 7:00 pm
* Sunday, November 1: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm.
