ENCORE Watch Party: Starfleet Academy – Part 3 (Episodes 6 - 8)

Welcome to our Star Trek: Starfleet Academy watch party series! This newest live-action show in the Star Trek universe is set in the far-future 32nd century and follows the first new class of Starfleet cadets in over a century as they train to become officers of the Federation. Under the demanding guidance of their instructors and mentors, they navigate friendships, rivalries, personal growth, and the challenges of life at the Academy.

For this meetup, we’ll be continuing the series together with Episodes 6, 7 and 8. Join us at STFNW HQ in Tigard as we gather with fellow Trek fans to watch the next chapter unfold.

We're easily accessible via shuttle (TriMet 78) or warp-capable ground vehicles (plenty of free parking in the back). Doors open at 10:45 AM, and you're welcome to beam in at any time throughout the event.

🖖 Event Itinerary:

• 11:15 AM – “Come, Let’s Away” (SFA) – The cadets embark on their first major training mission aboard a derelict Starfleet vessel, where a routine exercise quickly turns into a dangerous encounter that tests their teamwork, courage, and readiness for the realities of life beyond the Academy.
• 12:15 PM – Social / snack break – Take time to stretch your legs, chat with fellow fans, grab some food, and discuss the episode before we continue.
• 12:45 PM – “Ko’Zeine” (SFA) – As the cadets head home for their first school holiday, they are pulled between family expectations and their own hopes for the future, with several of them facing deeply personal choices about who they want to become.
• 2:00 PM – “The Life of the Stars” (SFA) – A visiting instructor uses an unusual method to help the cadets process recent trauma, while one cadet faces an unexpected challenge that could change the course of her life forever.

🥂🍕 Food & Refreshments:
Since this is an ENCORE event, STFNW will only be providing popcorn & other light snacks for this watch party, so if you want something more substantial for yourself you're welcomed to BYOL (bring your own lunch).

📍 Location Details:

• Meeting at STFNW HQ, 3rd floor—just look for the Trek-themed flags in our windows as you come up in the elevator - you can't miss us!
• Back doors will be unlocked; front doors are closed on weekends.
• ADA accessible via elevators.

This watch party is designed to be relaxed, social, and welcoming — come for as much or as little of the day as you'd like. New and long‑time Trek fans alike are welcome.
