Welcome!!

Learn a unique style of starry-night-sky landscape photography from Maxwell Palau and his guest associates. Meet-ups vary from local hikes, free lectures and photo walks to location workshops & camp-outs. Workshops vary from overnight location shoots within 100 miles from San Diego, CA — to multi-day workshops in Southern California & the Baja California Peninsula.

This is a group was created for all with an interested in space, astronomy, astrophotography and adventuring, hiking, camping in dark sky locations on a mission to get the perfect shot. All skills levels are welcome.

More than just "NightScapes". Most of the location workshops also include daytime landscape photography (at sunrise, sunset, and at twilight) during the most photogenic periods of the day.
