Welcome to the Stargazers Social Club for Curious Beginners. This is a group for anyone who has ever looked up at the night sky and wanted to know more but felt intimidated by the technical side of astronomy. Whether you have never touched a telescope or you are just starting to learn your way around the constellations, this is a low-pressure space to feed your curiosity and share a view of the universe with others.
Our meetups are relaxed and centered on learning together. We get together to find dark spots away from city lights, share tips on what to look for, and help each other get comfortable with basic equipment. There is no expertise required to join us; we are simply a group of neighbors interested in the moon, the planets, and everything else we can spot overhead. If you are looking for a friendly community to explore the night sky with, we would love to have you join us.
