About us

Stargazing for Beginners Under the Stars is a casual, low-pressure group for anyone who has ever looked up at the night sky and wanted to know more about what they were seeing. Whether you have never used a telescope before or you just want to learn how to identify the major constellations, this is a space to learn together. We keep things simple, focusing on the basics of navigating the night sky without getting bogged down in overly technical jargon.

We meet up on clear nights to share tips, practice using equipment, and enjoy the quiet company of others interested in astronomy. There is no such thing as a silly question here, and we encourage everyone to bring their curiosity. If you are looking for a relaxing way to spend an evening outdoors and want to learn how to find your way around the stars, we would love to have you join us for our next gathering.
