Athens Stargazing 101: Decoding the Night Sky

If you have ever looked up at the night sky over Athens and wished you knew what you were looking at, this gathering is for you. We are getting together for a relaxed, beginner-friendly evening to demystify the constellations, planets, and stars that are visible this time of year. Whether you have an old pair of binoculars gathering dust or you are just curious about the cosmos, you will fit right in with our group.

We will spend the evening away from the brightest city lights, taking our time to learn how to navigate the sky using just our eyes and a few simple stargazing tools. This is meant to be a low-pressure environment where we can share what we know, ask plenty of questions, and simply enjoy the quiet of the night.
