The Living Language of the Andes: Quechua & the Wisdom of Q'ero Shamanism

Join Q'ero Kurak Akuak shaman and Quechua expert Jeff Hansford as he introduces the foundational elements of the Quechua language while exploring the spiritual worldview of the Andean and Q'ero traditions and cultures.

You will learn practical Quechua phrases, key concepts, and sacred terms while discovering how the Quechua language reflects the Andean worldview and its relationship with nature, Spirit, and community through storytelling, teachings, and experiential practices.

We'll explore core Andean principles such as Ayni (sacred reciprocity), Pachamama (Mother Earth), and the three worlds (Hanaq Pacha, Kay Pacha, and Ukhu Pacha).

Together we'll learn the basics of speaking Quechua, feel into the energy of its words, and use shamanic journey to connect with the kay pacha and its animal archetypes.

Students will leave with course material containing Quechua vocabulary and phrases learned during the course.
