In this presentation, Shanti will discuss some commonly encountered IP issues for tech startups – topics include ownership of software, OSS issues, developer contracts, copyright assignment issues, contractual confidentiality, restrictive covenants, registering copyrights for software, copyright basics, & branding and trademark basics. Patents will be discussed briefly if time permits and there will be some time for Q & A.
