About us

Divorce reshapes almost everything. The house, the holidays, the friendships, the paperwork, the plan you thought you were living. Most of it happens while you are still expected to show up for work and for everyone else.

This group is a place to set that down for an evening and be around women who already understand, because they are somewhere on the same road. Some are a few months out. Some are years past it. All of them know what it is to rebuild.

We meet to talk honestly, in a small group, without anyone rushing you toward being fine.

Nicole Milone and Jamie McGarity are part of the circle too. Nicole is a financial advisor at Solaris Strategic Wealth and Jamie has been through divorce, and they are here because so much of what comes up after divorce eventually touches money. When a question like that surfaces, they can offer some plain, general guidance so you at least know what you are looking at. No pitch, no paperwork, no obligation, ever.

Come as you are. Ask what you want to ask. Or just listen.

Expect a small group, comfortable seating, and a couple of hours of real conversation. Sometimes the conversation lands on one theme the whole night, sometimes it moves around. Recent evenings have covered the loneliness nobody warns you about, telling the kids, and the strange feeling of making a decision entirely on your own.

They are happy to walk through the general shape of things people ask about after a divorce, like what changes with retirement accounts, how to think about a house you are not sure you want to keep, or where to even start with a budget built for one. General information only, nothing specific to your situation, and nothing you need to prepare for.
