Biotech Connect Leipzig is a monthly event created for people who want to learn from founders, meet the local ecosystem, and build their first connections in biotech.

We meet on the last Tuesday of every month.
Each event features one founder from a biotech company or startup, who shares their company story: what they do, how they started, what challenges they faced, and what they have learned while building. After the talk, there is time for Q&A and networking.

This event is open to everyone, but it is especially designed for people who are still early in their journey, including students, young researchers, aspiring founders, and curious professionals who want to understand what is happening in Leipzig and become part of the community.

For our first edition, we welcome:

Johannes Paul, CEO and Co-Founder of diamics, a company spun out of TUD Dresden and University Hospital Dresden.

In his talk, Johannes will share the story behind diamics, what the company is building, and his perspective on the future of diagnostics. He will also speak about the journey from research to startup, and how microsystems technology and laboratory medicine can come together to enable new ways of analyzing patient samples.

The best part will not be in the description, it will be in the room.

Let’s grow Leipzig’s biotech community together.
