Dresden Deep Tech Connect is a new meetup for exchange around potential deep-tech startups. The aim is to increase the number of new ventures in Dresden by helping co-founders connect at an early stage and enabling existing startups to find new team members. The evening will focus on networking, exchanging ideas, and meeting like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.

herone is a TU Dresden spin-off founded in 2018, developing and producing 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 such as struts, shafts and pipes for next generation lightweight solutions. By combining textile processing with advanced press forming, herone brings high-performance composites into serial production.
Christian will share herone's somewhat unusual path as a hardware startup without external funding, from university spin-off to building its own manufacturing.
