Alan Moore, author of “No Straight Lines” Alan is an established educator and a practitioner who possesses a unique grasp on the changes that are reshaping our world, and an insight on how to transform organisations and businesses to thrive in a world where it’s not business as usual. Alan has worked with many of the leading educational and corporate institutions around the world, sharing his extensive knowledge and insights on innovation and transformation in the form of teaching, workshops and inspirational speaking.
Alan is the inspiration for a number of innovative businesses, including the creation of crowdfunding platform Crowdcube. He also sits on the “board of inspiration” at the Dutch Think Tank Freedom Lab. He acts in a number of board advisory roles for organisations in finance, legal, mobile, theatre and the travel industries, as well as for an NGO dedicated to humanitarian crisis management. He mentors on the Springboard Techstars entrepreneurial programme.
Dr. Andy Harter, RealVNC and Cambridge Network
https://cdn.evbuc.com/eventlogos/131774795/276d5c1.jpg Andy Harter, is probably best known for VNC, a ubiquitous remote access technology he developed in the mid-90s. He founded RealVNC in 2002 and remains its Chief Executive. In recent years he has worked on embedding the technology in Google and Intel products. Under his leadership, in 2013 the company received its third Queen's Award for Enterprise in three years and he was named the Cambridge Businessman of the Year in 2011.
In 2002 he was elected a Fellow of the IET, where he now serves as a trustee. In 2010 he was awarded the Silver Medal of the Royal Academy of Engineering in recognition of an outstanding and sustained contribution to software engineering and commercialization and in 2013 he led the team that won the Academy's prestigious MacRobert Award. In 2011 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, where he now serves as a trustee. In 2014 he was appointed Chair of the Cambridge Network.

Ed Goodman is a business start-up mentor who’s worked with over 10,000 start-ups to successfully build their knowledge of financial management, social media, networking and more. He has also delivered keynote presentations and workshops at large-scale seminars and exhibitions, including the MADE Festival, Business Start-Up Show, and other events at Earls Court, ExCel London and The National Space Centre. Through independent consultancy and mentoring, along with aligned partnerships, he has worked with multinational corporations including Barclays, Google, Sage, Intuit and more. In 2012, Ed co-founded the Cambridge Business Lounge, a co-working space and support hub for start-ups and small businesses. He also regularly blogs on small business topics, including ‘The A–Z Guide to Starting a Business’, as well as being a contributor on the BBC, podcasts as well as other established business blogs. January 2015 sees the release of Ed's first book "New Business, Next Steps - The All In One Guide to Managing, Marketing and Growing Your Small Business", published by Pearson.
