Since 1998, Luis has been investing in early stage technology companies, mostly in the “Consumer Internet” space.
First as a Corporate executive, then as a full-time Angel Investor, and finally as General Partner of his own Angel Fund ”CABIEDES AND PARTNERS SCR”, he has made over 90 investments in companies such as Ole, MyAlert, Privalia, Trovit, and more recently, Blablacar, Bankimia and Tiendeo.
In addition to investing, Luis is Lecturer on Entrepreneurhip at IESE Business School.
Prior to that, Luis was co-CEO of Europa Press for 12 years.
He has a degree in Philosophy from Universidad and an MBA from IESE, and is a CFA Charter Holder.
Luis was born in Madrid in 1960 and is married without kids.
