Arlan Hamilton - Backstage Capital (Founder + Partner)

Arlan Hamilton built a venture capital fund from the ground up, while homeless. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Backstage Capital, a fund that is dedicated to minimizing funding disparities in tech by investing in high-potential founders who are people of color, women, and/or LGBT.

Derek Andersen - Bevy / Startup Grind (Co-Founder + CEO)

Derek Andersen is the co-founder and CEO of Bevy. Bevy powers event communities for Salesforce, Atlassian, Asana, Duolingo, and others. Derek also co-founded Startup Grind, a community of over 600 Chapters in 120 countries designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. Derek previously worked at Electronic Arts. Derek lives in Palo Alto CA with his wife and four children.
