Startup Grind hosts Angus Weir from Timely

We're excited to be hosting Angus Weir - Head of Finance for Timely, a booking software platform for Spas and Salons. Most well known in the tech industry for their unique operating model, in which all of their employees are remote workers.

Angus is no stranger to sitting at the C Level table of start-ups, he spent 3 years as CFO at Vend during an impressive period of development. He’s experienced it all; 500%+ growth, global expansion, capital raising and a challenging restructure.

Angus is passionate about how technology and innovation can support and bolster businesses, allowing them to simplify and focus on what they do best.

We’ll be talking to Angus about his journey through tech, the lessons he learned around growth (and it's dark side, restructures), capital raises, and finally about life at Timely and how they have found success in a remote working operating model.
