Building and Scaling a Tech Company

This month we are Co-Hosting our meetup with the Sligo Tech group with two speakers who have plenty of experience in building and growing a tech companies.

Our first speaker, Mike McGrath - founder and CEO of Anuview, will be talking to us about the trials and tribulations of starting, growing and exiting a company. Now on his 5th startup with no VC support, Mike has both successes and failure behind him, and a fascinating view on what it takes to build a company. Mike will be sharing his candid story with us (warts and scars included) and promises to be an eye opening talk on what it really takes to become a successful startup.

Our second speaker, Barry Henderson, is the COO of E3 Retail who opened their European office in Sligo at the start of this month. E3 Retail delivers innovative retail solutions to enterprises that are deployed both on premise, in the cloud and on mobile devices. Barry will be sharing some of E3’s journey with us and their recent move towards the cloud and serverless function.
