Anke Kuipers (Bend-it & Catching Games)
Startup Grind Cape Town is turning 3 and we are throwing a party with the Dutch Consulate and some friends.
Anke is a serial entrepreneur from the Netherlands who recently successfully crowd-funded her shoe company Bend-it BV that she started together with her sister Inge Kuipers. The crowdfunding helped to spread the shoes all over the world and they are now also being sold in various shops in Europe.
Previous to her entrepreneurial journey in shoes she got a masters in Fine art, started an international gaming company Catching Games, she then created an enterprise social network tool and adopted this in companies, started a sales organization for an online translation tool and helped various other start-ups and businesses with her creative knowledge and entrepreneurial experience.
