Born in Zambia, Brad and his brother, Brett, realised that there was a tremendous opportunity to take a mixture of technology and entrepreneurial spirit to attract a committed team of employees to address the challenge of increasing financial inclusion in Zambia.
Following a challenging start the company was able to close a $4 million investment deal in early 2012.
in 2016, Zoona raised $15 Million in a Series B funding round. In the last 90 days 1.5 million Zambians and Malawians have sent or received over $75 million through Zoona 1,400 agents. Zoona has invested over $1,000,000 in working capital and liquidity services for agents, a strategy that has created almost 2,500 jobs.
Zoona was recently selected by the Unreasonable Group and the Nike Foundation as one of ten entrepreneurial companies leading wildly innovative startups that are positioned to benefit millions of girls in poverty. (www.unreasonablegroup.com)

Soft spoken, yet fun-loving and energetic, Chelsea is a humble and hard working individual. After achieving an intensive diploma in professional cookery in 2010, Chelsea decided she missed interacting with people as her bubbly self.
Looking for something that could combine everything she loved - creativity, entertaining, travelling and motivating people – she decided that creating projects was the way forward. Creating exceptional relationships during her time spent at The Aleit Group as well as Korevest Leisure Management Group and Blackhorse Investments, she decided to combine her love for empowering individuals. She put this into action by founding The CES Collection.
“My life is a bit of an African love affair really, coming from Zimbabwe, living in Mozambique and residing in South Africa! Starting the collection was crossing another frontier.” Says Chelsea.
Chelsea takes on her new projects with great confidence and realises everyday her love of gratifying and motivating people through her company. Chelsea lives life completely, honestly and compassionately - with a healthy dose of reality and a creative imagination. Her motto – 'anything is possible if you set your mind to it.'
