Agenda
Advertising has changed a lot in the last few years. Billboards are still around. Brands also show up inside films, songs, web series, on cricket jerseys, in influencer feeds, and in formats that did not exist as ad inventory a decade ago.
Varun Jaiswal has been working in the middle of all this at Fiberboard, a marketing agency that handles celebrity and influencer engagement, sports branding, in-film and in-song placements, outdoor advertising, and newer formats like holographic and AR ads for brands across India. Their work has covered campaigns for names like Indeed, RuPay, TVS, Uber, Kurlon, PokerBaazi, and BMW, with celebrity tie-ups across cricket, Bollywood, and regional industries.
In this session, Varun will share how he thinks about media planning today, what is actually working for the brands he works with, where founders tend to overspend, and what the next few years of advertising might look like for early stage companies.
Come along if you are a founder figuring out where to put your marketing budget, or just curious about how the advertising business is evolving.
