StartupLokal v.68: Be The Next Local Hero

To commemorate The 71st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Startup Lokal will hold monthly meetup v.68 with special topic "Be The Next Local Hero" and also at special venue: Bukalapak HQ!

There are four startups who share their business journey and they represent the local hero startup, below:

1. Bukalapak (https://www.bukalapak.com/): they will explain the campaign about "Hero", the impact campaign to their business, and recent e-commerce landscape.

2. YesBoss (https://yesbossnow.com/): they were selected as one of member "Disrupt 100" (http://www.disrupt100.com/) list in the world. They will share how YessBoss potentially disrupt the global market.

3. Snapcart (http://snapcart.co.id/): they were also selected as one of member "Disrupt 100" (http://www.disrupt100.com/) list in the world. They will share how Snapcart potentially disrupt the global market.

4. LiteBIG (http://litebig.com/): they will reveal how to survive in the battle of Instant Messenger (IM) and they will explain recent IM landscape.

Speaker’s Bio:

OPENING SPEECH by Achmad Zaky (Founder & CEO Bukalapak)

Rahmat Danu Andika (Head of Business Partners Bukalapak)

Andika lead the creation of Penggerak Pelapak Program which now is one of Bukalapak main focus. He previously worked as an engineer at mining company, and has dedicated five years of his life to built a movement called "Indonesia Mengajar". He earned his degree in Engineering from one of Indonesian prestigious university, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

Irzan Raditya (Co-Founder & CEO YesBoss)

Graduated from Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Computer Science, at HTW Berlin, Irzan started to run YesBoss since June 2015. He previously worked as a Head of Mobile Product at Takeaway.com in Germany. In March 2016, YesBoss acquired HeyKuya, (https://heykuya.com/) a Philippines-based startup, for an undisclosed amount. This month, YesBoss crowned as the winner of "Rice Bowl Startup Awards" at "Best New Comer" category.

Reynazran Royono (Founder & CEO Snapcart)

Rey previously worked as a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group and Head of Modern Retail Business Unit at P&G. In March 2015, he started to run Snapcart and in April 2016 Snapcart was crowned as

the winner of "Inaugural Accenture Consumer Innovation Award 2016" (http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20160413006030/en/Companies-Receive-Inaugural-Accenture-Consumer-Innovation-Award) category "Give ME Omni-Personalisation" which selected from more than 130 entries from across the globe at the Millenial 20/20 Summit in London.

M. Tesar Sandikapura (Founder & CEO LiteBIG)

Tesar earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Lampung and his master in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Pelita Harapan. He previously worked as a Consultant in Infatsructure at PT. Ace Global Consulting & Integration. He started to run LiteBIG since July 2014.
