​Startup Mojave's Discovery Club is free and open to the public. This is an extremely hands-on workshop which takes place "in the field" rather than in the classroom.

​We are a group of designers, innovators, and entrepreneurs leveraging the Lean Startup / Customer Development method to guide our attempts at creating value for other humans.

​Customer Discovery is an immersive conversational research method designed to surface the real needs and challenges faced by potential customers of a new product or service. Customer Discovery is a crucial early step in the business design process, and helps us:

  • ​Validate problems before investing in solutions
  • ​Prove that we will be able to find customers
  • ​Understand customers' needs and wants
  • ​Ensure we're building a solution they can embrace
  • ​Gauge how much a solution is worth to customers
  • ​Discover indirect competitors we have overlooked
