PRESENTERS
Macero Therapeutics is developing a new way to stop dangerous bleeding by starting with childbirth, where doctors still don't have a safe drug to control bleeding before a baby is born. Our novel approach is a protein that is engineered to stay in the mother's bloodstream without crossing to the baby, so it can protect her without putting the baby at risk. The core technology was developed at UC Davis and Macero aims to grow and flourish in the fledgling Sacramento area biotechnology community.
