1 Million Cups Sacramento with Duotail, Inc.

You’re invited to 1 Million Cups Sacramento! Every Wednesday morning, one or two entrepreneurs present their early-stage businesses in 6 minute presentations that are followed by questions, feedback and advice from an audience of their peers. Join us on Zoom every Wednesday. Doors open at 8:45 a.m. and the program starts promptly at 9 a.m.

PRESENTERS
Duotail is reinventing the backbone of email. Email was built to deliver everything, so every inbox is open by default: anyone who has your address can reach you, and the only defense is a spam filter that guesses. Filters are judged on how much they catch, but people are harmed by the one message that gets through, and AI now lets attackers send a million tries for almost nothing. Duotail replaces that guessing with a yes-or-no decision. Each user has one identity with a separate address for each relationship (bank, newsletters, strangers), and each address has its own rules, so a sender is either allowed or not before the message ever reaches the inbox. Trusted contacts always get through, subscriptions can be muted or resumed, strangers get one message, and a leaked address can be locked with one click.
