Bas van Oers is EMEA Representative. As a fully certified project manager, Bas has a lot of experience in managing IT projects in several industries. Today, he combines his entrepreneurial spirit, passion for high tech solutions and project management talents by actively supporting several ventures to create a better functioning world, while having fun at the same time.

WABA.network is an open decentralized Blockchain platform that hosts and connects economic hubs in which money and market are governed by communities. The platform enables communities to rapidly prototype, test, implement and scale their own money and governing system. The platform will be designed in a way that currencies are easily built in a do-it-yourself fashion, with no need to have any knowledge on programming or economics.

Sebastian holds a PhD in Economics from Université Paris Sorbonne-Cité, where he graduated with a thesis modeling international monetary systems. He is in charge of the design, execution and follow-up of WABA.network core projects. In addition to his role in WABA.network, he works as the Chief Economist of the MonedaPAR project and as a professor of Macroeconomics in the national universities of San Martín (UNSAM) and Mar del Plata (UNMDP) in Argentina. Previously, he worked as an Economic Affairs Officer at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations (ECLAC). He specializes in the construction of dynamic systems adapted to the study and treatment of different economic problems.

Fundition is a next-generation, decentralized, peer-to-peer crowdfunding and collaboration platform, built on the Steem blockchain. Their aim is to replace old centralized models (such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Patreon, or GoFundMe), and offer a way for individuals and organizations to either fundraise for, or give to meaningful projects.

Aytaç Özden CETINKAYA is CTO at Fundition. In the past, Aytaç worked to develop the D.Tube platform, and have a wide knowledge of the blockchain’s operating system, the thinking process, and the necessity of an ecosystem. Before this work, he spent more than a decade as an engineer, specializing in the research of numerical solutions using mostly Microsoft technology.
