Pleasanton Ridge loop from Foothill Staging (6.8 Miles, 1600', Moderate +)

Join us for a hike on Pleasanton Ridge, from the Foothill Staging area. The hike is a blend of fire roads and single-track, taking us along the ridgeline with its wonderful views, and back along Sinbad Creek with its picturesque shade.
We will hike at a comfortable pace (22 to 25 minute miles) with brief intermittent stops to ensure the group stays together, and a 15-minute or so snack break. There are no picnic tables at our break spot, so you might wish to bring something to sit on.
No fee for parking, and there is a large parking lot, with bathrooms and water available.
Weather forecast is for 63 to 70 degrees, 8MPH wind, partly sunny. Please prepare for the hike with layered clothing, hat and/or sunscreen, and at least two liters of water to drink. Hiking poles may come in handy.
The Route:
The Trail will begin up Woodland Trail, north on Ridgeline Trail for almost 2 miles, left on Thermalito Trail, left on Olive Grove Trail. Pass the intersection of Ridgeline Trail to continue down Oak Tree Trail and back to our cars.
