If you reside on this planet and in possession of any kind of digital device you can do anything but miss the increasing presence of "Artificial Intelligence"-labeled tools, methods, applications, products, etc. This is a group to discuss everything related to AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, Data Science, or whatever they are calling this stuff these days, with a critical perspective and explaining the mathematical and scientific bases of this kind of technology to people of all professional backgrounds.
More Importantly, it is a group to discuss the role of humans in a tech-oriented and often tech-obsessed society, and how to stay relevant in the age of knowledge automation.

Nevertheless, any relevant respectful discussion is welcome: networking, being right, teaching, being wrong, learning, having a good time, and the journey are as important as everything else.

There are no technical requirements to join the group. Everyone is welcome regardless of background or skill. Discussions will flow naturally from the active member's interests.
