About us
The Steampunk Social is a gathering for people who adore the aesthetic, the inventiveness, and the whimsy of the world of steampunk and want to share it with others who do too. We're not about perfection or gatekeeping. We're about creativity, curiosity, and good energy.
We will be meeting in a hidden room tucked behind a bookcase in a charming new bookshop (because of course it is!)
What we do together:
-Show and tell our creations, costumes, finds, and works in progress.
-Share the films, music, art, and more that feed our steampunk souls.
-Possibly plan outings to events, markets, fairs, and galleries together.
-Talk about the things that inspire us.
This is a low pressure group with limited spots in a small meeting space so RSVPs are appreciated. Ages 18-88 welcome!
If you make things, love beautiful and unusual objects, think the world needs more imagination and craftsmanship, and want to find your people in the Volusia County area you may click right in.
Come as you are or come geared up. Both are welcome. And bring anything you'd like to share!
