Birmingham's home for Lindy Hop and Swing Dance
This group is for anyone interested in swing dancing, particularly Lindy Hop (the original swing dance), Charleston, Balboa, and Solo Jazz. Whether you want to learn how to swing dance for the first time or you want to dive deeper into your technique, musicality, and connection, we want to see you out on the dance floor dancing with us! All skill levels are welcome and you don't need to bring a partner (but you're more than welcome to bring one) to get started.
We are currently hosting weekly lessons and dances on Wednesdays at the Levite Jewish Community Center, and we organize carpools to various out of town events and do other social get-togethers on a regular basis.

TUESDAYS ARE FOR DANCING IN OCTOBER!
We'll be hitting the dance floor on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of this month at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Birmingham.
We'll start off with our lessons and then end with some social dancing. No experience required for the beginner lesson and no partner required for either lesson (we rotate partners during lessons to help you learn and make friends).
