About us
I started this group because I wanted to create a quiet space for those of us who appreciate the intentionality and calm of the traditional tea ceremony. Whether you are a long-time practitioner, a student of the way of tea, or simply someone who finds beauty in the ritual of preparation, this is a place to connect with like-minded people. My hope is that we can gather regularly to share our experiences, learn from one another, and enjoy the meditative atmosphere that only a proper cup of tea can provide.
We are not looking for anything complicated or formal; the focus here is on genuine connection and a shared interest in the history and practice of various tea traditions. We will meet to discuss different techniques, explore the origins of the tools we use, and perhaps host informal gatherings where we can practice our craft together. If you are looking for a gentle community where you can slow down and appreciate the details of the ceremony, I would be very happy to have you join us.

Sydney Steeped in Serenity Tea Gathering
melbourne 43932, melbourne, AUIf you have been looking for a quiet space to slow down and appreciate the simple art of a well-brewed cup, I would love for you to join us for the Sydney Steeped in Serenity tea gathering. This is an informal group for anyone who enjoys tea culture, whether you are a long-time practitioner of the tea ceremony or simply someone who appreciates the ritual and focus that comes with a quality brew. Our goal is to step away from the busy pace of the city for an hour or two and share a few pots of tea in good company.
We will be meeting to share different styles of tea, exchange thoughts on the process, and enjoy a bit of calm conversation. You do not need to be an expert to attend; this gathering is meant to be accessible and welcoming to anyone with a genuine interest in the craft. It is a wonderful way to meet others in Sydney who share a similar appreciation for mindfulness and tradition. If this sounds like the kind of afternoon you would enjoy, please go ahead and RSVP so I can get an idea of numbers for our seating.
