About us
If you have an interest in sailing or actively sail, we want to meet you. Stem to Stern welcomes all...first timers, racers and cruisers. We schedule get togethers at restaurants and pubs in Ventura and Channel Islands Harbor. The idea is that we meet to talk about how we can plan day sails in the area and give newbies ideas for how to get involved in the sport. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to own your own boat to go sailing on a regular basis. All members of this group are asked to have a clear profile photo of themselves. We look forward to meeting you!

Sailor's Social | Happy Hour & Dinner
Boatyard Pub, 1583 Spinnaker Dr Suite 109, Ventura, CA, USMeet us for happy hour (5-6pm) and dinner (6pm) at Ventura Harbor's classic seafaring grubbery. Click HERE for the Happy Hour Menu. There will be live bluegrass music at 6:30. We will start introductions at 6pm to avoid having to talk over the music. For those of you who attended our last event here, this will be a much quieter band with no amps. Also the happy hour menu has cheaper prices on both food and drinks so get there early!

Some of us have boats and would be happy to take you out even if you have no experience. We can also recommend local clubs and trainings to learn and get out on the water.About me: As Founder of Stem To Stern, past Commodore of Anacapa Yacht Club, and current member of Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club, I have ties to the local yachting world. Allow me be your entry and guide to all things sailing in Ventura and Channel Islands Harbors.
