Tactics & Pints | Sailboat Racing Social Event (with Q&A)

The Ventura Yacht Club is hosting its second of three Pints and Racing events. VYC Member Sean Guiltinan will be guest bartending/hosting and chef will prepare a tasty menu so there will be alcohol and food for sale. Many of the captains and crews of our Wet Wednesday racers will be in attendance. Ryan Cox will give a talk on racing tactics. This will be a fairly technical discussion on using the rules of racing and the wind and ocean conditions to maximize your chances of winning the race.

If you have a boat and are interested in starting to race it, if you are looking to crew on a race team, or even if you just want to drink a pint and sit by our fireplace while you listen to a presentation on racing tactics, come join us!

The next and last event will be "Pints and Speed" which will focus on getting the most speed out of your boat
