Walking the Mark Knutson Friday Night 5K

If you love walking and are going to be in the area on Memorial Weekend, please join us as we walk the Mark Knutson Friday Night 5K on Friday, May 30th, at 6:30pm.

This year the 5K begins on the Concordia College campus and walkers and runners will cover the course as 80's hits play from speakers.

Tickets will be $44.00 dollars per person until 11:59pm on 4/6, and then $54.00 per person after that. To register, visit the Fargo Marathon website at **https://fargomarathon.com/5k/** and complete the online form.

If you would like to walk with the group members, on the part of the form regarding pace, please choose fast walk pace with 15 min. per mile on the sliding scale. If you would like to complete the event faster, choose the settings that best fit your goals. (The responses to the pace inquiries allow the race organizers to line up participants appropriately at the start line.)

Whether you walk with the group or independently, please RSVP and we can connect both in advance of the race and on race day we'll all meet in the G4/S4 parking lot at Concordia at 5:30pm for our own Race Kick Off. Those lots are combined and are located on 12th Ave. S. between 6th St. S. and 7th St. S. If you aren't able to find a place to park in G4/S4, try G5, G6 or S5 lots until you do. They are all available to event participants. Then walk back and meet the group in G1. Look for the Step by Step Walking Group sign on the red KIA Sorento.
