The June Anniversary Walk, Island Park

You are invited to celebrate the walking group’s one year anniversary in the place where everything began, Island Park in Fargo.

What a difference a year can make!

Last year we had 7 registered members at the time of our first walk. This year we have 108.

Last year the walk took us past Prairie at St. John’s which was being renovated. This year the route will feature the newly renovated water park, which Includes a 50 meter competiton pool, a leisure pool and a water slide tower with both a tube slide and a FlyTyme slide.

Following our excursion, there will be cupcakes, yogurt, fruit and lots of water and socializing for everyone.

Please feel free to join us for all or part of the event. The walk itself willl last about 1 hour and 15 minutes and then we will return to the Gazebo for the celebration.

As always, please wear a good pair of tennis shoes.

This walk is 🦮 friendly, so please bring your canine companions.

In the case off heavy rain and or strong winds, the event will be rescheduled for the following Sunday at 5:00pm. (An announcement will be sent out to let everyone know.)
