July Walk, Northern Plains Botanic Garden

Details
For this walk, we will be exploring the Northern Plains Botanic Garden in Yunker Park in north Fargo. This garden actually consists of multiple gardens on 6 acres of land.
We are particularly excited about visiting this site as it was requested by walking group members.
So, after the welcome and greetings, we will get our steps in by walking in the area surrounding the Botanic Garden for about 45 mintutes before entering the garden.
Curious about what we’ll see? Here are some of the site’s highlights:
Gardens: The Woodland Garden, The Rain Garden, Thee Dry Garden, The Children’s Garden, The Crysanthemum Garden & The Alexis Financial Butterfly Garden.
There is also a Hummingbird Patio, an Edible Forest and a Botanic Garden Greenhouse.
Our social time will take place as we experience whe many different offerings of the Botanic Garden.
As always, newcomers and guests are always welcome.
Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and wear a good pair of tennis shoes.
In case of a light or moderate rain without lightning or strong winds, let’s plan on bringing umbrellas and carrying on with the event as planned.
In the case of adverse weather conditions, an email will go out to everyone letting them know that the walk will be canceled for 7/13 and held on 7/20 instead.
See you for the July Walk!
