The 2026 Global Youth Initiative will take place at the Hudson Oaks Urban Air on Cinema Drive. After a brief lesson, we'll have fun jumping, climbing, and flying throughout the facility! After the lesson, they will receive a special wristband allowing them ALL DAY PLATINUM PASS ACCESS.

During the Maxwell Leadership Global Youth Initiative, certified members of John Maxwell's Certified Leadership Team host events in communities worldwide. Youth who attend will be equipped, inspired, and empowered to have a positive self-image, respect themselves and others, and fail forward toward success.

What is the schedule?

• 10:00 Check-in and Photos
• 10:10 DISC
• 10:30 Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn
• 10:45 Urban Ar Play. One-on-one sessions, parent Q&A (optional), Pizza and Snacks
• 11:45 We must clear the room, but those students who complete the lesson will be given an ALL DAY PLATINUM PASS ACCESS UPON PARENT PICKUP wristband, so please plan to allow your child to stay longer and enjoy the pass

How can Parents help?

• We have a handful of parent volunteer roles you can help with, such as registration, handouts, serving food, and helping to round up attendees at the end so we can clear their belongings from the room.
• We have a limited number (first-come, first-served) Urban Air pass wristbands for those parents who volunteer.
• We also take donations of any size.
• Use the "tickets" button to register as a volunteer or sign up.

Can parents and siblings jump?

• Although the event itself is not appropriate for young children, parents may, at their own expense, bring siblings and play.
• We have a limited number (first-come, first-served) Urban Air pass wristbands for those parents who volunteer.

What if we're late?

• Please still come! Just realize that preference is given to those who are on time to start the lesson.
• If you come late, there's a chance that your child may not get one of the ALL DAY PLATINUM PASS ACCESS wristbands, so please make every effort to be on time!
