Braeside Park is a large environmental park of 295 hectares. It is bordered by Waterways, in the south, and Dingley Village, on the North.
The parks natural environment includes wetlands, heathlands, and red gums. It's a great spot for bird/duck watching, bunny watching, and if you're lucky you may spot an echidna!

Here's a Vic Parks guide to more info on the park...

This is a slightly longer walk than we're used to but the walking is easy, the tracks are flat and wide plus there's heaps of shade.

We'll meet at the Swallows car park, the 1st car park you come to off Lower Dandenong Rd. From there we'll walk through Braeside Park for about 40 mins enjoying the beautiful flora and fauna ending up at Governor Road, then over to Waterways for a coffee and chat at the Nest cafe.

I can be contacted on 0409219524 if you have any questions,
Cheers, Gillian.
