Beginner Cumbia 4-week Series (+ Drop In Options)

Join us for this fun latin dance! It’s rhythmic like salsa, circular and has a swing dance or 50s rock ‘n roll feel. We encourage taking as a series. You’ll end up with a beginner repertoire for the dance floor.

You can also drop in for a class or classes. No experience required for weeks 1-3. 🥰

Week 1 - June 20: Basic step, rhythm, open position, Pivotes

Week 2 - June 27: Basic, Closed to open position, follow left turn

Week 3 - July 11: Basic, lead left turn, alternating turns

Week 4 - July 18: Review follow left turn, learn left turn + check combos … Stop the back + follow left turn … Bonus: Al cuello, Quebrada
