3D-Day November 2016

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 16th. Prepare to be amazed by German conceptual artist Tim Otto Roth, fresh from the opening of his exhibit Light From the Other Side at the Goethe Institut in Washington, DC. He will show slides and discuss his 3D work with us.

Tim's work combines art and natural sciences in internationally-exhibited collaborations with leading research institutes and organizations such as the Hubble Space Telescope. He holds a degree in Theory of Visual Communication and a PhD in art and science history from the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.

We will also be showing off some lenticulars John has had made so we're going to make the that the secondary theme of the evening. Please feel free to bring any lenticular art you'd like to share.
