Sterling Volleyball Meetup Group

What's our goal?
- To create a community for those that love the sport of volleyball and want to meet and make new friends while also having fun and improving your skills!

What kind of events will there be?
- We will have both indoor, indoor sand, outdoor sand, and grass volleyball games year-round depending on the weather!

Who Should Join?
- Anyone and Everyone!
- All are welcome, but please be aware of your skill level and signup only for the events that are your level! (We use the USAV Player Rating System)
- Please use this as a guide if you are unsure: Volleyball Skill Level
- Let's sharpen our skills together while having some fun playing the sport we love!

Why Join? What makes us different?
- We are always looking to improve the quality of our events and community!
- As such, we welcome any and all feedback! It can be how we host our event, what events we host, how our leadership team is, anything!
- But more importantly, we care about your time. We don't charge to make a profit, but cover only the necessary expenses. Since it is your money and time, you are making an investment in this community and as such should have just as much say as anyone, and you should be getting something out of your investment. Therefore, the rules for the events may seem a little more strict compared to other groups, but we do it because we value you and your investment into our community. We want everyone to have a great time while also being safe and not having to worry an hour before an event if it will still happen or not.

How much is it?
- There are not any reoccurring dues to join our community, but there is a cost to renting some courts and so we expect that if you sign up for an event, you make sure you are able to pay the fee associated for that event! All fees for an event will be listed in the event title!

Are you affiliated with any other business or organization?
- No! But many of us are a part of other meetup groups!
