The Bun—exploring new routes

maybe 5 mi, around 700’ gain. the gorge has epic sweeping vistas where the harsh desert and the erosive power of water merge. this will be an exploration, traveling below my usual trail, to scout out possible alternate routes and future hikes. there may be significant scrambling as this Is all unknown trail. be prepared.m for yhe possibility. we will probably swing by the “bun” and look at routes toward hamburger rock. I hope you can join me!
