Join us at STHLM - Art & Improvised Theatre.
We want to celebrate human creativity in all shapes and forms. We organise improv shows once a month where we turn a custom designed artwork into an improvised play. Our shows always start with a mingle, so you can come with a friend or by yourself and enjoy the evening in company.
After the shows we regularly have a late night program for people who want to get on stage themselves. This could be storytelling events, poetry or music.
In the future we also hope to start offering classes and other events to connect, be creative and celebrate human creativity together.

The Show
For some time now robots have slowly been taking over and we are ok with that as long as they are doing our dishes.
But now they are creating our poems, music, art... And that is just one step too far, isn’t it?
This improvised play is a tribute to human creativity, a collaboration between humans who make stuff (visual artists) and humans who make up stuff (improvisers).
For every show we invite a different artist to design the show poster, which the improvisers in their turn will interpret and turn into a play before your very eyes.

From 17:30 our social host welcome you at the New Friend Zone (just look for the sign) for a pre-show mingle.

21:00 - 22:30 - Sonic Sessions - an open mic for musicFrom 21:00 After the show you can also hang out in the café, stay for some drinks and maybe some games. We stay open until we want to go home.

Sonic Sessions - an open mic for music
Location not specified yetJoin us for a cozy, music-centered open mic hosted by Push Play Theatre.
Bring an original, a cover, an instrumental piece, an improvisation, or something you’re still working on. Finished or a work in progress, polished or not, get it out of your head - Play it loud!
Come to perform, come to listen, or decide in the moment if you feel like getting up.A warm, low-pressure space for sharing music, trying things out, and enjoying what happens.

Before the open mic we also have a mingle and an improv show. You can come to both or to either. Please note that the doors will close during the improv show and reopen at 20:45.17:30 - Café opens + pre-show mingle

22:30 - late - we keep the café open, so you're very welcome to stay aroudn after the open mic.Entrance
Tickets for Sonic Sessions will be donation based and will help cover the costs of the theatre and will make it possible to continue organising these.
