Are you curious about Korfball, the world’s only truly mixed-gender team sport? Join us for a friendly, beginner-focused training session where you can discover this unique and inclusive sport for the first time!
Who is this for?
Absolute beginners! If you’ve never played Korfball (or even heard of it), this session is for you. No experience or special equipment needed—just bring comfortable sportswear and a positive attitude.
Who are we?
We’re a welcoming group made up of both Swedes and internationals. Our training is mostly in English, and we pride ourselves on being open, friendly, and supportive. Whether you come alone or with friends, you’ll be greeted with a smile and quickly feel part of the team.
What is Korfball?
Korfball is a dynamic, fast-paced team sport that combines elements of basketball and netball, but with a twist:
- Mixed-gender teams: Each team has four men and four women, playing together on equal terms.
- Non-contact and inclusive: Physical tackling is not allowed, and everyone gets to play both attack and defence.
- Teamwork and strategy: You can’t dribble or run with the ball, so passing and cooperation are key.
- Core values: Korfball is built on equality, respect, and fair play. It’s a sport where everyone participates, regardless of background or experience.

Meetup is not our main coordination platform, so don’t worry if you’re the only one signed up here! We have a larger group that organises through other channels, and you won’t be alone at the session. Just show up and join in!
