I once heard that Alcoholics are the only ones that treat loneliness with Isolation. The purpose of this group is to build on the popular phrase that "We are not a glum lot" and organize opportunities for Sober Fellowship. Activities can be anything from Dinners/lunches at the restaurant that you always wanted to try, shows, movies, or even saltwater fishing trips! Our group is primarily centered on the LGBTQ Sober community. South Florida has such a great community!

Taste of the Island Dinner
Richardson Park, 1937 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors, FL, USTaste of the Island is an evening of food and libation featuring local elite food and beverage establishments and spotlighting their culinary and beverage specialties at Wilton Manors’ acclaimed outdoor tasting event.
This year we have grown to a record number of restaurants and bars offering a larger variety of food and drink. We have also expanded our covered seating area around the event so that you can take a break between sampling all the great food and drink options!
Now in its 20th year, “Taste” welcomes everyone in our community and South Florida to join together to explore the wide range of culinary delicacies available in our area. This year's event is held at the beautiful Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve, 1937 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, 33305 on Monday, November 17 from 6 PM to 9 PM (admission gate closes at 8 PM). VIP ticket holders allowed early entry starting at 5:30pm, air condition seating, 3 comped drinks from Exclusive VIP Private Bar.
