WEEKLY ZEN MEDITATION, TALK AND DISCUSSION IN PERSON (AND ZOOM)

WE NOW MEET IN PERSON FROM SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 (YOU CAN STILL ATTEND VIRTUALLY WITH ZOOM).

We start promptly at 8:30am. Feel free to join us for any or all parts of our meeting

Here is our tentative schedule
8:30-9:00 opening chant and zazen
9:00-9:10 walking meditation/kinhin
9:10-10:30 talk and discussion
10:30-10:45 brief break
10:45-11:00 chanting service
11:00-11:45 tea and fellowship

Led by Roshi Ryuko, a Soto Zen Priest in the Matsuoka Roshi Soto lineage and a fully transmitted Zen Teacher in the White Plum Asanga (Maezumi Roshi Soto lineage). Our practice is based on the Japanese Soto tradition, but combines this with our background in Rinzai (koan work). All welcome regardless of experience, and particularly welcome if you share our community spirit that helping ourselves is as important as helping others.
