Join us for a walk along the Rideau Canal, Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 4:15 pm.

We’ll also listen to a concert (**[Latin Fiesta with Miguel de Armas & friends](https://nac-cna.ca/en/event/36374)**)!

Renowned Cuban pianist Miguel de Armas will be joined by five musicians aboard a boat. The boat will travel down the Canal, from the docks near the NAC to Lansdowne Park and back.

Both lanes of the Queen Elizabeth Driveway will be reserved for active use, between Fifth Avenue and Somerset Street.

**♿️ Accessibility:** The road is paved and mostly flat. Near the starting point, Ottawa City Hall has wheelchair-accessible washrooms. Sometimes we take the Flora Footbridge. This accessible bridge has barrier-free ramps with grades of about 5%.

🐕 **No pets:** Because some participants have allergies, we have a no-pets rule. Exceptions: animals used for people with visual impairments, or personal support animals.

🚆**Station:** uOttawa.

🅿️ **Information about parking:** There is parking at Ottawa City Hall.

Joignez-vous à nous pour une promenade le long du canal Rideau, le samedi 6 juillet 2024 à 16 h 15.

Nous assisterons aussi à un concert (**[Fiesta latina avec Miguel de Armas et invités](https://nac-cna.ca/fr/event/36374)**) !

Le célèbre pianiste cubain Miguel de Armas sera accompagné de cinq musiciens à bord d’un bateau. Le bateau descendra le long du canal, des quais près du CNA jusqu’au parc Lansdowne et retour.

Les deux voies de la promenade Reine-Élisabeth seront réservées à la mobilité active, entre l’avenue Fifth et la rue Somerset.

**♿️ Accessibilité :** La route est pavée et presque plat. Près du point de départ, l’hôtel de ville d’Ottawa est équipé de toilettes accessibles aux fauteuils roulants. Parfois, nous prenons la passerelle Flora. Cette passerelle accessible comporte des rampes d’accès sans obstacle avec des inclinaisons d’environ 5 %.

🐕 **Pas d’animaux de compagnie :** Parce que certains participants ont des allergies, nous avons une règle interdisant les animaux de compagnie. Exceptions : les animaux utilisés pour les personnes ayant une déficience visuelle ou les animaux de soutien personnel.
